- Psychological dependence

You see, in 2005, neuroscientists discovered “top-down processes” in the brain [National Academy of Sciences/July 12, 2005 ]. Simply put, if YOU are convinced of something, the brain can override old learned habits.
So it logically follows that, the cure for smoking is ANYTHING that activates the top-down processes of the brain! These studies have proven that hypnosis activates this brain power but I believe that anything that helps you change your thoughts about smoking will help you quit.
